The Four Foot Proper Hutch

The Four Foot Proper Hutch Our Proper Hutch is made from real wood, tongue and groove boarding, on a frame of fully planed joinery quality timber and has a heavy duty mineral felt on the roof.  For real security, the wire front is heavy gauge galvanised welded mesh.  It's the type of hutch dad would like to build if he had the time.

The Peterborough

The Peterborough provides "bun" with a covered lawn run which has wire (1" x 1") on both long sides with fixed (so secure) tongue and grooved boarding on the triangle sides.  This effectively affords "bun" with both shade from the sun and shelter from the rain.  A hinged ramp to upstairs gives access to the segregated bedroom.  To add to the security the stairs are able to be raised and pegged up at night.  Access for cleaning and "bun checking" is achieved via a fully removable side door into the living bit.  For feeding and catching there is a hinged wire door into the run area.  For the lawn conscious amongst you (and aren't we all) I should point out that because the grass is never smothered by the house as would be the case with a unit with the house at ground level,  you never get the yellow grass patches that are indicative of having the rabbit on the lawn.

The Cat Chalet

At last the answer to what to do with the cat when you are out.  Shut the cat out in its own place, free to entertain who it wants.  The chalet has two defined sections, a feed area just inside the cat flap door and a slumber room with patio door so the cat can bask in the sun before the glass, safe, secure and comfortable.  Both doors open to maximise access for cleaning.
